SKU: GICI-001 WWI Hussar Busby Cap Skull (Totenkopf)

WWI Hussar Busby Totenkopf also known as the Mackensen Skull. These elite pieces of insignia feature a metal skull and crossbones worn on fur busby hats (Pelzmutze) by specific Prussian cavalry regiments. The most notable wearer of this piece of insignia was Field Marshal August von Mackensen.

When I decided to make these my original only had 1 prong still present on it. It had to come off to make the mold so I decided it might be a good idea to reenforce this area. So we put some small monting blocks on for the prong and it worked really well. I took one and bent it back and forth about 4 times and it still remained very strong.

Measurements: 4 inches in height by 4 1/4 inches in width (Exact same size as the original we used)
