Ernst Rohm Honour Daggers were granted to members of the SS and SA who either had interrupted service since December 31, 1931, or those who transferred from the Hitler Youth prior to that time (February 22, 1934 - II Order Nr. 2869). After the Night of the Long Knives, Ernst Rohm was declared a “traitor” and removal of the inscription was ordered (July 4, 1934). To have Rohms inscription was against Hitlers orders making daggers with the full inscription incredibly rare and desirable piece.
The Steel painted scabbard features the correct domed screws and hanger loops.
The carbon steel blades are nicely polished and feature the SA motto "Alles Fur Deutchland" (Everything For Germany) on the front and "In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm" on the back with Carl Eichorn Solingen maker mark. The blades are fitted with a solid wood grip featuring the correct grip eagle and enameled SA button. All of the metal fittings are made of German Silver and will not chip or flake over time, however they will acquire a patina. They can always be repolished to keep their luster.
An absolutely gorgeous reproduction of a sought after dagger which would make a nice addition to any collection or the perfect side piece for a true reenactors walkout impression.
