The Gau badges were political awards, that were issued by the
Gauleiters of the Nazi political districts for a variety of
achievements. Each Gau district or region had there own
specific badge. This particular one is the Sudetenland which
was an administrative division of Nazi Germany from 1939 to
1945. It was formed in 1938 from territory annexed from
Czechoslovakia
