Nearly identical to WW2 German these mess kits are old Post War Russian surplus which means they are made of military food grade material. These all seem to be new never used and come with a thin layer of food grade grease on the inside to protect them until they are ready to be used. Some will have a dent or a scratch on the outside from storage.
All these need is a quick repaint to look more German, and they are great for reenacting.
We recommend washing them out before use.
