Luftwaffe Air Gunners and Flight Engineers Badge was
instituted on June 22nd 1942. To qualify for this badge the
recipient had to complete 2 months training, or to have
participated in one of the positions in a minimum of five
operational flights. It could also be awarded sooner if the
recipient had been wounded on an operational flight.
