Reproduction Queen's Sudan Medal. This medal was awarded to British and Egyptian forces who took part in the Sudan campaign between 1896 and 1898. One of the most famous battles was the Battle of Omdurman where Lt. Winston Churchill fought. The obverse features the jubilee portrait of Queen Victoria, while the reverse shows a winged Victory figure seated above a tablet with the name Sudan.
