Reproduction Danzig Cross 1st Class. The Danzig Cross was instituted in 31 August 1939 as a two grade decoration by Danzig Gauleiter Albert Forster. It was awarded to those who contributed to building up the Nazi Party in the free city. Only 88 first class crosses and 253 second class crosses were awarded, most being awarded at the ceremony which took place on the 24th of October 1939.
This Badge is die struck with the crown riveted to the top. The badge features white enameling and wide pin.
