Product Details

The Original Infantry Assault Badge was established on December 20, 1939 as a recognition of combat action as an infantryman.
These badges were prototypes and were never actually made in large quantites only a few samples were ever made. The design of this badge is slightly different than the Infantry Assault badge that was adopted by the German Armed Forces of WWII. This badge incorperates the lightning bolt more commonly known as a blitz and a German Eagle with outstretched wings. This is a nice quality die-struck replica of the prototype.
