Reproduction Close Combat Clasps. These are die-struck and con-caved just like the originals, and feature maker marks, wide back pin and superb detail. We offer these in four different finishes Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Aged Silver.

The Army Close Combat Clasp was established on November 25, 1942 by Hitler himself. He considered it the highest infantry decoration, and reserved the right to award the gold version personally. The criteria for this award is as follows.

-Must have engaged in hand-to-hand combat when supported by armor.
-Bronze Bar required fifteen days of close combat.
-Silver Bar required thirty days of close combat.
-Gold Bar required fifty days of close combat.
