WW2 German Naval Dagger

Beautiful copy of the 2nd model German Naval dagger. This dagger has an engraved scabbard and blade along with "WKC" maker marks. Both sides of the guard are engraved with an ancor in the middle. The grip is of a white composition with a gold colored thread wrapped around it. The pommel is also engraved with the national eagle and swastika. The dagger is made complete with a functional locking mechanism to keep the blade in the scabbard.

Great reproduction of the WW2 German Police dress dagger. This dagger has great engraved detail in the guard and the pommel. The scabbard is made of brown leather and the handle has the german police insignia on it.

This reproduction knife is properly marked like the original "AMES MFG. CO. CABOTVILLE 1849" on one side and "US WD" on the other. The initial WD stands for William Dickinson a United States ordnance inspector. The reverse guard is also stamped "WD" and "JWR" which stands for Major James W. Ripley, commander of the Springfield Armory. The grips are made of a walnut colored wood. Overall length is 18 inches long, blade is 12 inches long.
